Orlando, Fla The National Mango Board (NMB), in conjunction with the University of California, Davis (Department of Plant Science) will be hosting a free Mango Ripening Webinar on Thursday, Apr. 24, 2014 at 4 p.m. Eastern time. This webinar will discuss why mango ripening is important to the U.S. consumer and how to utilize the NMB’s new Mango Handling and Ripening Protocol.
The webinar will provide information on the following: benefits and implementation of a ripening program by Dr. Carlos Crisosto, University of California, Davis; ripening success stories and trends in the produce industry by Pamela Riemenschneider, Produce Retailer magazine Editor and The Packer Retail Editor; and an overview of the NMB’s Mango Handling and Ripening Protocol by Wendy McManus, Retail Program Manager at the NMB.
There will be a question and answer session following the presentation.
