It's time to tell the story of how plants get their start and the Epcot® International Flower and Garden Festival is the right place to do just that. FNGLA, Disney's Horticulture team, Harry P. Leu Gardens and the UF-IFAS extension have teamed up to showcase the newest flowering plant releases and the greatest innovations in the Floriculture Industry.
Hosted during the Epcot® International Flower and Garden Festival, FNGLA broadens its successful partnership with Walt Disney World hosting these industry field trials for annuals, perennials and vegetative crops in conjunction with a cutting-edge industry educational conference.
Participating Breeders
Participant plant beds are planted 6 weeks prior to the conference to allow for ample maturity of the plants. Breeders showcase exciting new colors, textures, pest-resistence and durability. Each variety will be evaluated by Disney's horticulture team and by other industry professionals relative to each site's location. Results are available to industry. Come see first-hand which plants outperform others and what will "wow" consumers in the upcoming year!
