Philadelphia – The Philadelphia Wholesale Produce Market (PWPM) awarded its grand prize of a $6,500 shopping spree to Kings Food Markets, Parsippany, NJ on March 11, 2014.   Kings’ name was randomly selected from entrants who visited the PWPM booth at the New York Produce Show and Expo held December 11, 2013.  The $6,500 grand prize was sponsored by 13 participating merchants who each put up a $500 store credit to support purchases at the Philly Market.

In addition, RLB Food Distributors, East Caldwell, NJ also attended.  RLB was one of 10 winners eligible to receive a $100 Visa Gift Card if they visited the PWPM before June 30, 2014.  The day consisted of a morning meet and greet, followed by a two-hour tour of the PWPM, where Kings was able to plan out their shopping strategy.

“We are thrilled to be able to show Kings and RLB what a state of the art produce market we have in Philly, said Sonny DiCrecchio, Executive Director of the PWPM.  “Once people explore our Market, we’re confident that they will return as regular customers.”
