Greenex is the new distributor of pot chrysanthemums for Royal van Zanten in the USA. Royal Van Zanten and Greenex have been preparing for this partnership since late 2013. The objective is to introduce a modern European assortment in the USA.
Cooperation
The cooperation between the companies has already proven successful, as Greenex has been a distributor of Royal van Zanten products since 2005. In regard to pot chrysanthemums, Greenex will primarily focus on the sales of cuttings which will be produced by Grolink in Ventura.
Varieties
Through this partnership, Royal Van Zanten aims to introduce modern European varieties. These varieties have been tested under American conditions and are easy to grow, have a short cultivation period and a high ornamental value. 20 varieties will be introduced initially. In addition to the basic varieties there are special cultivars such as Pura Vida®, Brasil!®, Artistic® Pink Improved and Inuit. The first two are available with distinctive concept-promoting materials aimed at the consumer, such as a sleeve, a leaflet and a website (http://www.my-puravida.com/ and http://www.sweet-brasil.com/).
