Norwich, Vt. – King Arthur Flour has hired David Waybright as Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for the upper Midwest region. Waybright leaves a sales and marketing position at HJ Heinz he has held since 2004 to join America’s oldest flour company.
“Joining King Arthur Flour is an opportunity to join a company that has been successful for over 200 years,” says Waybright. “They are 100% employee owned, 100% committed to quality and focused on the needs of the consumer and customer. Speaking with the team and visiting the campus I noticed an incredible level of engagement across the entire organization. As a B Corp they are also very socially responsible. These attributes met all of the objectives I was looking for. The decision was very easy.”
Waybright has worked in the CPG industry for the past fifteen years holding various positions in Sales and Category Management representing brands such as Kodak and Heinz. He holds a BA in Business from Concord College in Athens, WV, and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Katz School of Business. Waybright is also a proud veteran, having served in the Army National Guard in both Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
“As the company continues to grow so does our need for people in the field who can represent us well,” says Peter Bouchard, King Arthur Flour Director of Flour Sales. “Dave’s outstanding industry knowledge and strong work ethic make him a perfect fit for this position. His history of service to his country also demonstrates that he is well suited to King Arthur Flour’s strongly held commitment to community and social responsibility. We are honored to have him join the King Arthur Flour family."
