Moreno Valley officials have approved changes to a proposed warehouse project, clearing the way for discount grocer Aldi to move ahead with its regional headquarters in the city.
The project was approved by the City Council in 2011 but a Thursday, Jan. 16, Planning Commission vote allowed the company to change the project’s size.
Originally, it was proposed as a 937,260-square-foot warehouse facility. The project is now slightly smaller at 800,430 square feet. Aldi will also redesign the parking layout and make other changes.
