The combination of blue and white is striking and innovative in the florist’s range. Which is why the new Gentiana scabra ‘Hakuju’ won a silver award at the Florall trade fair in August 2013.
Gentians are by their nature available in blue or white, but the unique point about this hybrid is that it combines the two colours in blue and white striped flowers. This Danish novelty is visually very striking and is thus able to stimulate impulse buying. It is cultivated by Bloemenkwekerij Bostoen and is marketed by Van Der Zalm Young Plants in Lokeren.
