Fowler, CA – Bravo Farms Cheese, known for its handmade, small batch cheddar production ads California Dutchman’s Feta made with 100% cow’s milk. Bill and Patt Boersma founded the dairy known as Bravo Farms’ in 1979. From their location, North of Visalia, California they produced and sold milk wholesale to various creameries around the state. Cheese production on the farm began in 1995. They produced cheddar and Dutch style cheeses. The Cheeses became extremely successful in California and in various locations throughout the United States.
In 2006 the Boersma’s sold their herd and facility to their neighbor so that they could focus on making cheese but continue using the same quality milk that had helped create the delicious Bravo Farms cheeses.
Bravo Farms newest creation, Dutchman’s Feta, is not at all salty, not too dry, slightly creamy and finishes with a tart, sweet cow’s milk flavor. The pleasant cow’s milk flavor compliments nuts and vegetables; taking salads to deliciously new standards and savory results. Crumble on pizza, add to lasagna and stuff inside chicken or peppers and then roast in the oven. Dutchman’s Feta taste so good that you can it eat as a table cheese with breads, fruits and nuts. Drizzle a little Extra Virgin Olive oil or your favorite flavored oil on top for a delightful treat.
Dutchman’s Feta is currently available in 30 pound cheese buckets, 2/5 lb. blocks, 6/16 oz. & 12/8 oz.
