A year ago, the career marketing and advertising man launched wisconsincheesemasters.com. He started with corporate clients, and he started at the top – his first collection grouped eight Wisconsin World Champion cheeses, cheeses made by master cheese-makers who have won world championships.
The site has 28 cheeses, sold at this time only in collections, and more are being added all the time. Pionkoski estimated that about half are made by certified master cheese-makers. The others are artisan or farmstead.
