LAKE KATRINE — An Ulster County organic bread-making company received $240,000 from the state to spur economic development in New York and the mid-Hudson Valley.
Empire State Development awarded the grant to Bread Alone, a Boiceville baking company founded in 1983, according to the company and a written release this week from the state agency.
The grant is a portion of $12.4 million in ESD funding for projects to create more than 80 jobs and retain 625 jobs in the state, the agency announced this week.
