FORTUNE, N.L. – Ocean Choice International is marking the opening of a fish plant in southern Newfoundland after it underwent renovations to improve seafood processing.
The company has committed to creating a minimum of 110 full-time positions for at least five years at its facility in Fortune on the Burin Peninsula.
It also says it has leased a vessel to fish cod in an effort to boost activity at the plant.
