Milk moustaches around Kansas City have been different colors and flavors throughout 2013 as the Shatto Milk Company celebrates its tenth anniversary by offering a few special edition flavors throughout the year. Each flavor has been presented in a unique half liter bottle featuring a fun word or story associated with the flavor.
The seventh and final wildly anticipated limited release product will make its way to local shelves starting on October 21st. In recognition of ten wonderful years providing world class milk to the Kansas City region, the Shatto’s would like to introduce Candy Corn Milk. This fun and tasty product will be bottled in its own exclusive “TREAT’” bottle. “Offering these limited edition flavors has been a lot of fun for us here at the farm. We hope everyone that has tried them has enjoyed them. This last flavor is to correspond with the time of year, we hope that our customers see this fun unique flavor as a true treat.” Said Barbara Shatto. Just 4,000 “TREAT” bottles were created. Fans of the limited edition flavor will need to act quickly as the Candy Corn Milk in these limited edition bottles are as supplies last! Once the limited bottles are gone, the Blueberry Milk will be offered until mid-September in their normal pint bottles.
These fun flavors and tongue-in-cheek bottles are likely to get Kansas City consumers even more excited about the family dairy that has become a community fixture.
Once this final flavor is gone, the Shatto’s will work to conduct a vote, allowing their customers to choose one of the limited edition flavors to go into ongoing production. The flavors that have been offered are: Chocolate Cherry, Mint Chocolate, Apple Pie, Blueberry, Birthday Cake, Cookies and Cream and now Candy Corn. The Shatto’s do still have each of the limited edition bottles at the farm for sale for those that are interested.
“It does not seem like it has been ten years since we started Shatto Milk Company”, says Barbara Shatto. “The past ten years have provided a lot of learning opportunities, but most importantly it has provided us the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people. We would not be celebrating this milestone without the support of our wonderful customers and the entire Kansas City community. We want everyone to know how thankful we are for their support!”
To commemorate the anniversary, the Shatto Milk Company is planning a very special Birthday Party and partnership that will be announced in mid-September. More details will be made available soon.
