Backerhaus Veit Ltd. Unveils New Website

Woodbridge – Artisan bakery, Bäckerhaus Veit launched a stylized, cleaner, brighter, and more interactive website that is more user friendly for B2B customers, brokers and sales staff.

As part of the BV refreshed web (and their Back-to-Basics program), users will experience a new design with easier navigation: search by word; locate industry links; find recipes for menu building; determine nutritional factors; stay in touch with their "What's New?" section; view accreditations awarded to BV; submit specific requests online; and be in direct contact with their CEO & President, Sabine Veit. “I think it’s extremely important to stay in contact with our customers and be able to share the passion of our industry and that’s why I am opening up the lines of communication with our ‘Ask Sabine’ link.”

The website is now accessible through desktops, laptops and tablets, and will soon evolve to include Smartphones. The new website also conforms to upcoming 2015 standards for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 making the content more accessible to a wider range of people with disabilities, including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, learning disabilities, cognitive limitations, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity and combinations of these.

The new backerhausveit.com upgrade is a key component of BV's ongoing brand transformation initiative which has developed product innovations including the recently launched Brioche Gourmet Bun, Pre-sliced 4 pack Pretzel Gourmet Bun and Hoagie Rolls, Mini Brioche Sliders, Pretzel Table Loaf, and Low Sodium Multigrain Rolls.
