Frank Isernio has settled into his new sausage factory in Kent.
Now he wants to sell a lot more sausage.
Isernio, 68, one of the old guard of Puget Sound area Italian food companies, is best known as CEO of Isernio’s Sausage Co., which has stuck with a traditional recipe given Isernio by his Italian mother Angetina Isernio.
From that he’s built a company that sells nearly $15 million in sausage products yearly, and employs nearly 30.
The Isernio name is one among several others — Oberto, Magnano, Mascio — belonging to Italian food leaders in the region.
