The influx of specialty food stores into the Jacksonville market is the future of the grocery industry, an analyst said.
Organic grocer Earth Fare is planning its first Northeast Florida location in a retail development at the intersection of Atlantic and Kernan boulevards, according to site plans filed this week with the city. Sleiman Development will build a 23,775-square-foot box for the new store.
Earth Fare representatives did not return requests for comment Friday. Look through the photos for a tour of other recently opened Earth Fare stores in other markets.
