Monterey, CA – The 1st Annual Aaron Hill Strike Out Hunger Baseball Camp to benefit Ag Against Hunger (agagainsthunger.org) will be held at California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) baseball fields in Seaside, CA on October 5, 2013 from 9:00am – 12 pm.
Aaron Hill, two-time Silver Slugger and All-Star second basemen for the Arizona Diamondbacks, will be on the site to direct the one-day event. He will be joined by a selection of the top prep and college coaches from the area.
Camp is open to boys and girls ages 9-14 and focuses on baseball fundamentals. Groups will be small to ensure each participant gets personalized instruction. Hill will talk about the finer points of the game and encouragement in school.
Participants receive an autographed photo from Hill, T-shirt, goodie bag and the opportunity to win additional prizes. Spots are limited, so participants are encouraged to register early.
Camp sponsoring partners are Dick's Sporting Goods, Marucci Bats, Markon First Crop , Performance Physical Therapy & Sports Conditioning, California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) and HMC Farms.
Ag Against Hunger was founded in 1990 to provide people in need with nutritious, fresh, surplus produce from local fields in the Central Coast of California.
