Duluth, MN-Based 'Locally Laid' Egg Business Expands To Twin Cities Area

Locally Laid, a pasture-based egg operation in Duluth, is expanding.

Just a year after its eggs first landed on shelves at Whole Foods Co-op and Homecroft Foods in Duluth, Locally Laid eggs is expanding in the Twin Cities area.

This fall, the eggs from chickens that forage on pasture grasses will be sold at four cooperatives in the Twin Cities area: East Side Food, the Wedge Community, Seward Community and Center City Market. They’ll also be served at Birchwood Cafe and Modern Times Cafe in Minneapolis, the company announced.

In addition, Upper Lakes Foods, a wholesale food service, will become a distributor of Locally Laid eggs.
