CENTS Midwest Convention, January 13-15, 2014

Businesses at the Central Environmental Nursery Trade Show (CENTS) convention have identified the venue as one of the best ways to jumpstart sales each year, according to 2012-2013 research findings. Approximately 8,000 attendees and some 400 exhibiting companies flock to the convention from across the nation because of CENTS’ reputation as the ideal landscape for exhibitors and buyers to connect in the central U.S. CENTS provides business and green industry education programs, groundbreaking authors and speakers, and powerful commercial and networking opportunities designed to educate, engage and inspire.

Independent research conducted revealed:

-99% of attendees like attending CENTS
-95% of attendees say they are likely/or very likely to return in 2014
-91% of exhibitors who attend 3 or more industry shows report CENTS is ranked better or as good as the others

“This is my 11th year attending CENTS. It is a must-see show, a must-do show for us. We always come to see people, yet we also see a lot of new folks that come by and say, ‘this is our first time here’ so we try to capture that audience as well,” states Tom Decker, sales manager for Semco Outdoors.

The CENTS conference is slated for January 13-15, 2014 at The Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, only 500 miles from 80 percent of the U.S. population. The CENTS convention is the only Midwest-centric venue of its kind for green industry professionals. The conference draws growers, independent garden centers, landscape contractors, arborists, turf, and pest management professionals each year to take advantage of pre-season business networking and promotions opportunities.

“Millcreek has been in the CENTS show since 1981,” explains George Pealer, owner of Millcreek Gardens. “We find it to be a great place to come network with our customers and meet new people year after year. We wouldn’t miss it.”
