We are proud to announce the opening of our Southeast Branch in Lakeland, Florida, and welcome Bruce Letchworth who leads the sales team. Lindsay Love has been hired as a sales assistant. Lindsay and Bruce both have wide produce experience and a stellar record of customer service, assets we value highly. Recently they worked for the Lakeland office of Supervalu. Bruce spent time at Save-a-lot and Publix prior to working for Supervalu. Bruce and Lindsay are well-known and respected in the industry, so we could not be happier than to have them on board with us at Vision Import Group.
Now that our long range goal of opening a Florida office has been realized, we see it as a significant enhancement to our import business. We are partners with Vision Produce Company in Los Angeles with offices in Phoenix and Nogales, as well as with Vision Produce Partners of Texas. We also have another office in Pharr, TX where we have a Q/C and a support manager for all products we cross from Mexico through Texas into the USA. Our head office is in River Edge, New Jersey, and the Florida office rounds out our complete ability to service customers with a national scope. Additionally, our company is uniquely positioned to work with Mexican, Central American, and South American growers and shippers to give them a presence in all geographical areas of the United States.
