New Double Lily Is Fragrant, Beautiful & Without Messy Pollen

One of the great things about being a garden writer is trying out new introductions.

These double oriental lilies from Longfield Gardens are wonderful.

They were just planted a couple months ago and have bloomed like crazy.

The double flowers are beautiful, fragrant and are bred not to produce pollen. If you grow lilies and use them as cut flowers, you know what it's like to have the pollen dropping under the vase creating a mess.
