Sweet Grass Dairy’s soft-ripened Green Hill cheese was recognized for its quality in the soft-ripened cheese category at the American Cheese Society Annual Conference and Competition held July 31 – Aug. 3 in Madison, WI.
Green Hill won 3rd place for the second straight year. This is the eighth ribbon in 10 years for Green Hill, capturing 1st place twice, 2nd place three times and 3rd place three times.
“Being consistent and doing things the right way every day is something we talk about all the time,” said SGD owners Jeremy and Jessica Little. “The fact that Green Hill is being recognized year in and year out – that is humbling and amazing all at the same time.”
Based in Thomasville, Ga., Sweet Grass Dairy is a family-owned and operated farm that hand crafts fresh, soft-ripened and naturally aged cow cheeses that are unique and delicious.
