FONTANA, Calif. — Rio Ranch Market shoppers can now earn Ibotta Cash Rewards, Bonuses and Store Extras in store for buying their favorite products when using the free Ibotta app.
Rio Ranch Market partnered with Ibotta, Inc. to empower its shoppers and give them the ability to earn cash for redeeming Ibotta Offers at checkout starting July 31, 2013. Shoppers can also earn cash for exclusive Rio Ranch Store Extras on products from leading companies like Kraft, General Mills, LALA Foods and Mission Foods.
Shoppers can download the Ibotta app for free on the Apple App Store and Google Play. With over 10,000 top reviews, Ibotta's users have earned over $1.8 million to date.
Omar Milbis, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Rio Ranch Market, said, "Through this partnership, we can offer our shoppers a unique in-store experience. Ibotta allows us to reward shoppers and interact with our customers in a fun and exciting way without the need of a loyalty card." Milbis explained, "Our shoppers simply select Ibotta Offers that interest them and then purchase the products in store. Once a shopper connects the Ibotta app using a phone number, Ibotta Offers can be redeemed automatically at checkout and the cash earnings are then available for withdrawal at a shopper's convenience."
Sue Klug, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Unified Grocers, said, "Rarely do you find a technology like Ibotta that benefits retailers, manufacturers and consumers at the same time. Our team was able to work with our CPG companies to help identify exclusive Ibotta offers. We are very excited about Rio Ranch's launch later this month and look forward to adding on more retailers soon." Klug added, "We understand the benefits of this partnership for ourselves and our retailers. Operating in place of a loyalty card, Ibotta's technology allows our retailers a unique marketing and sales opportunity."
Bryan Leach, Chief Executive Officer, Ibotta, Inc., said, "We jumped at the opportunity to work with Rio Ranch Market. Adding Rio Ranch Market to our list of supported stores, along with the automated redemption process at checkout, makes Ibotta both easier to use and available to a wider group of shoppers in Southern California."
