Maryland crabs are going head-to-head with 19 other delicacies to be named the 10 most iconic dishes on USA Today Travel’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice list of Best Iconic American Foods.
Other foods in the running include Italian beef sandwiches from Chicago, Kansas City barbecue, wild salmon from Portland, Ore., and Wisconsin fried cheese curds.
