The 2013 edition of Belgium’s largest and most famous floristry event – FleurAmour – is planned for the beginning of autumn. The historical Alden Biesen Landcommandery, built by the German Order of Teutonic Knights in the 17th century, is once more the setting for the leading floral art event.
‘Passion for Flowers’ is once again the motto of FleurAmour, which is celebrating its 18th edition. After all, what is more important to a lover of flowers than admiring and experiencing how the world’s most beautiful flowers are turned into the most unique floral creations?
Being a Belgian event, a long list of the country’s foremost floral designers will be present at FleurAmour 2013: Geert Pattyn, Moniek Vanden Berghe, Jan Deridder, Stef Adriaenssens, Michel Mullèr, Stefan Van Berlo, Hilde Pollet, Linda Huygenay, Annick Mertens, Charlotte Bartholomé, Stijn Simaeys, Tom De Houwer, Damien Overputte, Haruko Noda, and Hilde Viaene.
And that is far from all. As always, many international guest designers will be invited as well. Famous names like Russia’s Vadim Kazanskiy and Roman Steinhauer, England’s Lana Bates, Laura Leong, Wendy Andrade and Yan Skates, and Holland’s Pim van den Akker, Miranda ter Voorde, Sjacco Gerritsen, Bart van Didden and Jacqueline Boerma!
