Pompano Beach, Florida – Southern Specialties announced today Jeff Reid has joined the company as Vice President of Operations. Mr. Reid enters the produce industry from a career in the equipment rental industry. His past responsibilities included managing regional sales teams and the lifecycle management of over $7.5 billion in assets. Mr. Reid received his MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Miami. His responsibilities at Southern Specialties will include the development and execution of strategic objectives to maximize the company’s growth and profitability.
