LOS ALAMITOS, CA – Frieda’s Inc., recently released the latest addition to its YouTube Specialty Produce 101 video collection, featuring specialty artichoke varieties: deep purple Fiore Viola, red Sangria, and Fiesole (fee-eh-so-lay) Baby Purple Artichokes.
“Our Specialty Produce 101 video series is popular with consumers who are looking for a visual guide on a fruit or vegetable they haven’t seen or cooked before,” said Karen Caplan, President and CEO of Frieda’s. “Retail produce managers also use our videos for training their staff. Many retailers have played them on their produce department television screens to educate customers while they shop.”
Each video in the Frieda’s YouTube library is created as a “How-To” series to help educate consumers on the types of specialty produce Frieda’s carries. The videos share usage tips, interesting facts and recipe ideas. They are each about three minutes long and always done in a fun and quirky way.
The video was produced in-house and stars Frieda’s marketing team. The team also captured behind-the-scene footage on Vine and Instagram.
Other videos available on Frieda’s YouTube channel feature Rambutan, Jicama, Cherimoya, Coconut, and Stokes Purple® Sweet Potato. Subscribe today!
