DAVIS, Calif. – Executive of Agri Beef Co. Rick Stott accepted the position of CEO for Superior Farms Lamb this week. He served as the Executive Vice President of Business Development of Agri Beef, headquartered in Boise, Idaho and with more than 19 years at the company has also served as President of Snake River Farms (a subsidiary of Agri Beef), Agri Beef Vice President, Treasurer and Corporate Controller. Stott has also been a member of the Board of Director for Superior Farms/THCI since 2011.
“During the last 19 years I have had the privilege of working closely with great people,” said Stott. Agri Beef has grown from a Northwest feeder to a leader in the beef industry and I feel privileged to be a part of that success. However, I’m very excited to join Superior Farms and the lamb industry. Through my involvement as a Director, I’ve had the opportunity to become familiar with the company, the industry and its employee-owners. It will be an exciting and challenging opportunity.”

Previously Stott was responsible at Agri Beef for deploying new opportunities, acquisitions, information technology strategy, marketing, and regulatory and public policy affairs. Among other strategic initiatives, Stott headed a team to launch a new company to market protein directly to consumers at TheDoubleRRanch.com.
Stott is a fifth generation cattleman and graduated with a Bachelors and Masters degree in accounting from Brigham Young University. Currently he is serving as a board member on the University of Idaho Agriculture Dean’s Advisory Board and on several other industry boards. He is a member of several professional and community organizations including; The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, Idaho, Washington, Montana and Kansas Cattlemen’s Associations.
