WPVGA: Celebrate Cinco De Mayo Recipe Contest Highlights Versatility Of Wisconsin Potatoes

Antigo, WI  – Wisconsin potatoes are one of the most versatile vegetables on the planet – they're great for breakfast, lunch or dinner and they make for a healthy main course, side dish or snack. After all, potatoes are low in calories, fat-free, gluten-free and are rich in fiber, potassium and calcium.

To highlight the versatility of Wisconsin potatoes, the Wisconsin Potato and Vegetable Growers Association (WPVGA) is hosting a Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Wisconsin Potatoes Recipe Contest. Submit your favorite Cinco de Mayo recipe featuring Wisconsin potatoes and the rich flavors of Mexican cuisine at www.eatwisconsinpotatoes.com by April 5, 2013.
