Registration for the International Horti Fair 2013 is now open. The trade fair dedicated to technology, innovation and innovation in horticulture is moving its venue to Aalsmeer where it will be held at the same time as the FloraHolland Trade Fair: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 6, 7 and 8 November from 9.00 to 18.00 hours. The location for both trade fairs is the FloraHolland auction building and special adjoining pavilions.
The announcement that the trade fair would move to Aalsmeer was made at the start of Horti Fair 2012. Reactions to this were very positive: a large majority (72%) of the more than 15,000 visitors rated the move as a good – or even very good – decision. Since this announcement, organizers of both trade fairs have been working on plans for the move.
The guiding principle was that both trade fairs would retain their own profile. The Horti Fair, according to its director, Willem Luuk Nijdam, will thus remain the biggest international trade fair for technology, innovation and inspiration in horticulture. “By cooperating with the FloraHolland Trade Fair, we could refine our profile as a trade fair. A good example is that the segmentation of the various exhibition locations has been made even more effective. Not every detail has been worked out as yet, but the revised concept for the trade fair looks quite promising indeed.”
