BARO North America, Inc. has announced the upcoming grand opening of a new supermarket lighting design showroom at their headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. Lee Rhoades, COO of BARO, invites anyone involved in the supermarket industry to attend the event that will be held February 28th from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
“We have created a lighting design showroom that is a small-scale supermarket accurate in every detail with a stained concrete floor, floral, produce, seafood, bakery, liquor, GM and deli/cheese departments complete with custom signage,” explains Rhoades. “The BARO showroom will allow us to demonstrate to grocers a wide array of lighting solutions and options. We can now show on actual supermarket displays such things as the difference between a 3000K and 3500K LED — or how varied footcandle levels on the same display can impact visual merchandising.” He adds, “Everyone here is very excited on introducing this valuable learning center to our supermarket customers from all over North America.”
BARO has been a specialist in supermarket lighting since its formation in Germany more than a half century ago. For details on the grand opening or on the company’s new LED luminaires please call 314-692-2270 or email lee.rhoades@baerousa.com.
