LUNENBURG, NS – High Liner Foods Incorporated (TSX: HLF) ("the Company"), the leading North American value-added frozen seafood company, announced today the addition of Shelly Jamieson to the Company's Board of Directors.
Ms. Jamieson brings extensive management experience, both industry and government, to High Liner's Board, including four years as Ontario's Secretary of Cabinet, Head of the Ontario Public Service and Clerk of the Executive Council, and two years as Ontario's Deputy Minister of Transportation. Prior to working for the Province of Ontario, Ms. Jamieson served as President of Extendicare (Canada) Inc. (TSX: EXE) and as Executive Director of the Ontario Nursing Home Association.

Ms. Jamieson is currently Chief Executive Officer at the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, an independent organization funded by the federal government to accelerate action on cancer control for all Canadians, and also serves on the National Advisory Board of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Canada. She has a degree in Urban Studies from the University of Toronto and is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.
