As the holiday shopping season ramps up, residents in West Knox County are adjusting to life with a slew of new grocery store options.
Over the last year, West Knoxville and Farragut have opened their doors to a new Kroger, Costco, Publix, Aldi, Trader Joe's, and GFS Marketplace.
"You go further west, [and] it feels like many, many stores are popping up," said Farragut resident Buffy Wilmoth.
Knox County Commissioner Dr. Richard Briggs said he is excited about all of the new growth his district has seen as well. When asked whether he thought all of those stores could survive in West Knox County, Briggs told 10News, "I think the marketplace will sort that out."
