West Liberty, Iowa — West Liberty Foods, L.L.C. announced today plans for an addition to the Tremonton, Utah facility. This addition will add over 34,000 square feet of manufacturing and storage space to the facility. Target completion for this expansion is August, 2013.
This addition became necessary as a result in increased sales volumes for West Liberty Foods. The expansion will bring an estimated 10 million pounds of additional manufacturing capabilities to the facility. “The expansion of the Tremonton, Utah facility is part of our company’s continued success, and the additional space will serve to benefit our customers”, said Ed Garrett, President and CEO for West Liberty Foods.
This will be the third addition to the facility since it opened in 2007.
