KIDRON — John Metzger has been named president and chief executive officer at Gerber Poultry, where he will continue to serve as chief financial officer.
Metzger replaces long-time president Mike Gerber, who will remain on the company’s board of directors.
Glenn Mott, who began his 23-year Gerber career as a route driver, has been named vice president and chief operating officer.
Jonas Miller is the new vice president of hatchery operations. Miller has managed the Orrville Chick Hatchery since its inception in 1991.
