Kroger Adds Pineland Farms Cheddar

New Gloucester, ME — Six years after creating its first batch in the rolling farmland of Maine, the Pineland Farms Creamery has vaulted successfully onto the national stage with its award-winning, natural cheese. On July 30, 2012, the Kroger Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio added Pineland Farms Cheddar to its core offering in approximately 500 stores across the USA. Available in both Kroger Specialty Cheese shops and the Murray’s Cheese counters within select Kroger locations, Pineland Farms will be delighting palates throughout the country with artisanal cheese crafted on the farm in Maine.

“This is an important milestone for our company and for the Maine cheese industry,” says Neal Kolterman, Vice President of Sales for Pineland Farms. “We are honored to be partnering with a first-rate company like Kroger, and we are thrilled to be able to share our wonderful product with more people across the country.”
