Redwood Hill Farm's Two Brands Take Home Six Awards

SEBASTOPOL, Calif. – Redwood Hill Farm & Creamery, Inc. received six awards between their two brands, Green Valley Organics and Redwood Hill Farm, at the2012 American Cheese Society (ACS) Judging and Competition held earlier this month in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The Sonoma County creamery was awarded first place in the Cultured Products Flavor Added category for its newest product, Green Valley Organics Lactose Free Strawberry Pomegranate Acai Kefir. In the Cultured Products category, Green Valley Organics Sour Cream and new Peach Yogurt both earned second place. For its goat’s milk products, Redwood Hill Farm earned three second place prizes, including wins forCalifornia Crottin, a traditional French-style rind cheese with a fluffy texture and robust, earthy flavor;Redwood Hill Farm Plain Yogurt, the first and still favorite goat milk yogurt to be available nationwide, first introduced in 1982; andRedwood Hill Farm Plain Kefir, a one-of-a-kind, best-selling product in the natural foods industry since its introduction in 2008.
