MINNEAPOLIS — Yogurt lovers can now enjoy the creamy and tasty goodness of yogurt in a simple, all natural way as Yoplait® introduces new Yoplait Simplait yogurt.
Yoplait Simplait is crafted from a combination of 6 simple, all-natural ingredients including cultured pasteurized grade A milk, fruit, sugar, corn starch, natural flavor and a vegetable or fruit juice or extract or pectin.
With 30 years of experience, Yoplait continues to bring innovation to the category by focusing on consumers' varying needs.
“Consumers are continually looking for new and different ways to enjoy the refreshing goodness of yogurt,” says Rachel Ringel, associate marketing manager, Yoplait Simplait. “There has been an increasing demand for simpler ingredient lists, but one thing remains constant – taste is the most important.”
New Yoplait Simplait is available in four delicious flavors including Strawberry, Vanilla, Peach and Blackberry. A good source of calcium, new Yoplait Simplait contains 7g of protein per 6oz-serving.
“Consumer reaction has been very positive,” says Ringel. “They have described the yogurt as light-tasting, balanced and very flavorful.”
Yoplait Simplait will be available nationally in August, 2012, and has a suggested retail price of $0.90 per single-serve cup. For more information on Yoplait Simplait visit www.yoplait.com.
