In June, July and August, transit shelter posters will appear at key geographic locations in Los Angeles, Phoenix and inWashington State, near food markets. The posters featuring mouth-watering summer delicacies will tout the interesting flavor thatWallaWalla Sweets give grilled, baked and raw food, and will remind customers to look for the Walla Walla Certified Sweet Label in their favorite grocery store. The campaign’s visual appeal and message help reinforce positive feelings about summer and family activities while encouraging consumers to make their summer even sweeter with Walla Walla onions. In addition to the posters, “Make Taste Interesting” billboards will blanket the marketplace during the selling season.
Supporting the summer-long transit shelter poster and billboard campaign will be sponsored metro radio drive time traffic reports. The traffic reporters will talk about the incredibly sweet and mild flavor off the delicious Walla Walla Sweet Onions and how they make everyone’s favorite summertime foods irresistible.
Keystone’s “Make Taste Interesting” advertising campaign will also be augmented by a multi-faceted and aggressive public relations effort focused on major metro areas across Southern California, Phoenix and the Pacific Northwest. The PR program will seek to generate widespread print and broadcast media coverage of Walla Walla Sweet Onions and the many ways they can add sweetness and interest to summertime foods.
