Value grocer Save-A-Lot announced Tuesday it will open a second Florida distribution center early next year in Pompano Beach that will create more than 30 jobs.
The renovation of the warehouse, at 2800 N. Andrews Ave., is scheduled for completion by February and will supply 26 of Save-A-Lot's 139 Florida stores.
The discount grocery chain currently has six stores in South Florida: Plantation, Lauderdale Lakes, Pompano Beach, Miami and two in Hollywood.
