L&M is excited to announce it is expanding its Michigan operations. L&M will be representing various Michigan growers, as well as consolidating a full line of vegetables in its new location on the Benton Harbor Market.
Greg Cardamone, General Manager of L&M’s Vegetable division says, “In addition to working with several wonderful growers this year, we are happy to have a place we can officially call home on the Benton Harbor Market. The growers do a super job and people in the area are great.”
Michigan has played a role in L&M’s summer vegetable program for years, complementing its own farms in the southeast. In a continued effort to provide top quality customer service, the Company has formally expanded into the region.
In Michigan, L&M will continue to focus on the same vegetables they grow and market throughout the year. The Company’s expertise lies in peppers, cucumbers, squash, cabbage and eggplant. Cardamone says, “We are focused on meeting our customers’ vegetable needs year-round, and look forward to growing our programs in Michigan.” L&M serves a broad range of supermarket, wholesale, and food service customers.
