A grocery that specializes in healthy and local food — and has a restaurant that demonstrates how to cook the food — is coming to The Summit.
Earth Fare will open its first store in Kentucky in the northeast Louisville shopping center in late summer, said Becky Norton, general manager of The Summit.
The grocery will take over the 25,000 square feet vacated by Old Navy and become an anchor for the center.
“One of our wish-list items has been an organic food store,” she said. “There’s definitely a movement toward eating healthier, watching what you eat, watching what’s put into your food.”
