Cesar Campaña Of Agricola Campaña Wins Mexican Exporter Of The Year Award

Tubac, AZ — Cesar Campaña, a principal of progressive Mexican grower, Agricola Campaña, was the recipient of the 2012 Mexican Produce Exporter of the Year award, presented at the recent America Trades Produce (ATP) conference in Tubac, Arizona.

Presented by Ken Whitacre, publisher and editorial director of PRODUCE BUSINESS magazine, the award recognized Campaña's accomplishments in furthering trade between Mexico and the United States and Canada. His leadership and involvement in the several organizations outside of the company – namely the Eggplant Promotion Board in Mexico, CAADES (the Confederation of Agricultural Associations of the State of Sinaloa)and AMHPAC (the Association ofMexicanProtected Horticulture) – were recognized

Members of the Nogales, AZ-based Fresh Produce Association of the Americas and McAllen, TX-based Texas Produce Association — joint organizers of the ATP conference — overwhelmingly nominated Campaña for his distinguished service in support of Mexican agriculture.

Campaña's recognition was given on the first day of the conference, which hosted Mexican produce importers, exporters, service suppliers, buyers and others allied to the trade.
