Beginning April 21, 2012, Stew Leonard’s Garden Centers are offering free Saturday morning workshops at their Danbury and Norwalk, Conn. and Yonkers, N.Y. locations. During each one-hour workshop, attendees will learn about lawn and gardening techniques and trends from a Stew Leonard’s gardening expert and receive handouts on the topic at hand for home reference.
Stew Leonard’s Garden Centers are now all officially open for the season, offering hundreds of native flowers, vegetable bedding plants, hanging baskets, annuals, trees, mulch, potting soil and shrubs, plus top-of-the-line tools and products to maintain a healthy and beautiful garden.
The Stew Leonard’s principles of friendly, knowledgeable customer service and fresh-from-the-farm foods also apply to the Garden Centers. The gardening staff is eager to help customers and answer questions. Many of the flowers and plants available for purchase are grown on local farms.
