Salinas, CA – Naturipe Farms, announced the recent addition of Allen J. Vangelos to its grower/owner board of directors.
“We are very excited that Al Vangelos has joined our organization,” said Nicolas Moller, the current Chairman of the Board for Naturipe Farms and CEO of Hortifrut S.A. “Al has a distinguished career with leading grower owned produce companies and will provide valuable insight, guidance and expertise in the coming years”.
Mr. Vangelos has thirty-five years of experience in fresh and processed food products sales, marketing and organizational management and development. Most recently he served as the President /Chief Executive Office of Sun World Inc. Previously he led Calavo Growers of California, the world’s largest avocado grower cooperative, where he successfully restructured the organization, guided international development and overhauled the management structure, production and grower service functions.
He is the co-founder and principal of Novelle Consulting, LLC a leading management consulting group in the global produce industry. The group offers solutions in supply chain, sales and marketing, food safety, corporate management and strategic planning for the private and government sectors
