Burtonsville-based Bell Nursery USA LLC is starting to prepare for the busy spring season by seeking to fill more than 900 jobs.
Bell is the exclusive live goods provider to The Home Depot stores in Maryland, Philadelphia, Delaware and Virginia, which means its business begins to boom as March 21 nears. Bell is hiring for Maryland and other Mid-Atlantic store positions, as well as North Carolina, parts of West Virginia and into the southern Ohio valley.
Most of the seasonal jobs are for garden center merchandisers, who will care for the millions of plants in local Home Depot (NYSE: HD) stores. Positions also include drivers, and greenhouse and loading dock staff.
