Target Stores in Salem and Keizer soon will have expanded grocery sections, offering shoppers a wider selection of food products, including fresh meats and produce.
Local Targets are being upgraded to what the retailer calls its "PFresh" concept. By the end of this year, most Target stores in Oregon will have completed a full remodel.
"We are not trying to be a full grocery destination, but we're trying to eliminate stops outside (of Target) for our guests," said Lisa Sherland, a manager at the Target store on 3790 Center St. NE in Salem.
The Salem store is in the midst of a 13-week remodeling process, which is expected to be completed by March 25.
