Due to outstanding growth at Pure Hot House Foods, the company has once again hired a well-known name in the produce industry. Bob Donckers joined the team on February 6th and will be the COO for the company.
Mr. Donckers' produce experience spans more than 20 years in the business. His first job was with Safeway as a Produce Clerk. Following that, he held multiple roles throughout Costco Wholesale, eventually ending up as a Produce Buyer. His most recent major experience was as Vice President for Mastronardi Produce where he oversaw Food Safety and Procurement.
"I've been fortunate enough to work for and with some of the best companies in the industry, both retail and supplier side," said Donckers. "Most of my management style and ethics come from working with Costco during my 'managerial development' years," adds Donckers. "It was great to have fantastic mentors to teach and lead me when I was younger, and I have not forgotten the importance in treating your superiors, your team and employees with respect. I see the same style of management and ethics at Pure Hot House Foods and my goal is to further develop the company into a global leader in the greenhouse industry."
