The 2012 UConn Perennial Plant Conference will feature an exciting mix of nationally renowned speakers and local experts, including Suzi McCoy, Kelly Norris, Doug Tallamy, Sydney Eddison, Ethan Roland, Barbara Balgoyen (Walters Gardens), Randy Prostak, Luke Kreye, and Michael Bowell.
Topics were selected to appeal to professional landscapers and designers, nursery and greenhouse producers, and retail garden center operators. The 2012 program includes talks on marketing and the challenges related to Gen Y & Using Social Media, design sessions related to Rock Gardens, Shore-scaping & Mature Gardens, ecological options in Designing with Native Plants & Weed Control, Permaculture, and of course New Perennials.
