CFIA: Undeclared Egg In Certain Rainbow Trout Pastries

OTTAWA – The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Ferme Piscicole des Bobines Inc. are warning people with allergies to egg not to consume certain Rainbow Trout pastries described below. The affected products contain egg which is not declared on the label.

The following Ferme Piscicole des Bobines brand products are affected by this alert:

These products were sold from the retail store located at Ferme Piscicole des Bobines Inc, East Hereford, QC.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.

Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to egg.

The manufacturer, Ferme Piscicole des Bobines Inc, East Hereford, QCis voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
