SALINAS, Calif. – Mann Packing, a leading supplier of washed and ready-to-eat vegetables, is expanding its main processing facility in Salinas, Calif., by 18,000 square feet to accommodate volume growth in the company’s business.
Using the latest green technology in construction, this is the fifth expansion to the facility in as many years, said Vice President of Marketing Lorri Koster.
The previous two expansions focused on cooler expansion for more warehousing and better picking systems. The current expansion will increase the company’s capacity overall and should be completed by the start up of the spring season in Salinas, Koster said.
